About Readers’ High Tea – Reading our of your bubble, one book at a time
When I started Readers’ High Tea, back in 2016, little did I know that book blogging will stick around for so much time. At that point, I just wanted a place to share my own thoughts about books I read, without much hope that anyone other than my friends would read it 🙂
Fast forward to 2023 – it feels a bit different now. I went through multiple stages, from reading classics to reading contemporary authors, books from Romania and books from all over the world. And I realised that what inspires me most to continue blogging about books is to inspire others get out of their bubbles, one book at a time. ‘Cause there’s such a big and wonderful world out there! We might not have the time nor the money to visit all the places in the world … but those magical places can be at our fingertips (literally!) 😉
Reading out of your bubble, one book at a time – this is what I aim to inspire you to do. I’ve already taken this path some time ago, and now it feels like it’s here to stay. Reading out of your bubble cultivates empathy, builds bridges, and fosters appreciation for our shared humanity.
Thank you so much for being with me on this journey and let’s all read out of our bubbles, one book at a time!

About Georgiana, the blogger behind Readers’ High Tea
I’m a very passionate reader of fiction books, that’s what you might already know 🙂 What you might not know yet is that I am based in Bucharest (Romania), I lived in the Netherlands for 2 years (for Masters studies), and I enjoy riding my road bike.
I graduated Computer Science, but right after switched gears towards strategy consulting. After 6+ years in consulting I switched gears again, this time towards coaching people. At the moment I’m a Leadership & Transformation Coach, so you might see some coaching books as well featured on my website 😉
