Dear readers,
Today I come to you with a rather unusual post, asking for your help. In a nutshell, I am interested in reading books written by Australian writers, but the information on the web is not as helpful as I was hoping. So I am asking you:
What books written by Australian writers do you recommend reading?
I am mostly looking for fiction books (except Young Adult and Horror genres), and I do not have a specific theme in mind. The only book that I read and falls in the “written by Australian writers” category is The Book Thief by Markus Zusak.
I am looking so much forward to hearing your ideas! Please leave your recommendations in the comments section below. Thank you so much in advance!
‘Till next time … happy reading!

I recommend Tim Winton, John Marsden (except he’s YA), for some fun reads Liane Moriarty and Graeme Simsion – just off the top of my head

Well David Malouf is one of our finest writers, and I strongly recommend his book – The Great World. A more recent book that’s Excellent is The Golden Age by Joan London. And of course there’s also The Narrow Road to the Deep North by Richard Flanagan. I’m afraid 2 are about war but all are prize winners. Happy reading Robin Dawson
