Hello and welcome to my second WWW Wednesday!
For those who are not familiar with WWW Wednesday, it is a post hosted by Sam@Taking on a World of Words, consisting of 3 questions about the past, current and future reads.
1| What are you currently reading?
At the moment I am reading “The Secret History” by Donna Tartt and I’m loving it! I heard about it from D., a very dear friend of mine and an avid reader herself. It got me so immersed that I managed to read more than half of the 600 pages in less than 1 week. The story is dark and the writing style is mesmerizing, I cannot wait to read the other half!
2| What did you recently finish reading?
One week ago I finished reading “North and South” by Elizabeth Gaskell (click here to read my full review). It’s a classic book that reminded me of “Little Women” and Jane Austen’s novels. I enjoyed a lot reading it, it is a beautifully written story that incorporates romance, family life, coming-of-age, and industrialization.
3| What do you think you’ll read next?
I did not pick up a certain book as next read, but I am pretty sure I will read one of the books I have at home. However, the last time I said that it did not really happen … so who knows ?! 🙂
