The "learnings" were derived from 3 books that focused on the murder mysteries set in university campuses: The Secret History by Donna Tartt, Book of Mirrors by E.O. Chirovici, and The Truants by Kate Weinberg.
Since the previous reading status in Steptember I finished 4 books - keeping up with my personal record for 2020! And what an interesting blend: non-fiction, murder mystery, and exotic settings such as Madagascar and West Africa. Cheers to many more months like that!
A modern whodunnit, a story about friendship and betrayal, transition (or not) to adulthood, "The Truants" is a story I recommend if you're interested in reading murder mysteries and / or stories with a strong literature flavour. For a great experience, try playing truant while reading the book! π
